Leonis Adobe Museum - Share the Legend

The Leonis Adobe is seeking volunteers who will provide community service...

• To help us share what has been called "the best kept secret in Los Angeles"
• To help us preserve one of the last reminders of California's old west.
• To help hundreds of visitors to enjoy this "living museum" that was once the home of the legendary rancher, Miguel Leonis.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to provide community service who are interested in history, like working with people and would enjoy being a part of a volunteer program at the Adobe. We are a diverse group made up of all ages and backgrounds.We need people to help out occasionally, seasonally, or regularly.We are looking for those who can assist our staff with special events, children's programs, research efforts, and other areas of the museum. We also need help in keeping our gardens beautiful, our blacksmith shop organized and general office assistance. We need interested people to volunteer in an environment that's challenging and fun, while supporting your local museum and giving back to the community.
